Melanie Ramirez
Program Manager, Office of Child Health Equity
Born and raised in Concord, California, Melanie Ramirez is a child of Filipino immigrants. As a first-generation, low-income college student, she graduated from Tufts University in 2019 with a Bachelors of Arts in Community Health. She currently works at Stanford Medicine, where she advances child-health advocacy and anti-racism. She is passionate about using medicine to break down silos and promote health equity and justice for historically marginalized communities. She will continue this work as she attends medical school in the summer of 2022.
