Ride Out With Dirt Bike & STEM Entrepreneur Brittany Young

Brittany Young is a proud West Baltimore native. As a former NASA engineer, turned classroom teacher and founder of B360, Brittany fuses her love for young people, her community, and STEM education into a program that amplifies the beauty of her community's citizens. B360 provides a safe space for Baltimore youth to learn about the design process and engineering while tapping into their innate interests in dirt bike riding–a common practice in Baltimore streets. Her work as a youth advocate also includes wi-orking with local community and civic leaders to create safer policies for youth involved in the legal system in Baltimore through diversion programs as alternatives to incarceration. B360 has been featured on The Steve Harvey Show, TED Talk, and many news outlets. Brittany Young was recently named a 2022 Ashoka Fellow in honor of her work in education and youth development in Baltimore.
