Take Flight with Pilot Mario Tarver

Mario Tarver grew up in Oakland, California. He became interested in airplanes after a school project in high school. He attended Tuskegee University in Alabama. Mario currently works as a pilot in the Bay Area.Mario Tarver is a First Officer with Skywest Airlines based at San Francisco International Airport (SFO) There he flies the CRJ-200/700. In addition to being an airline pilot with Skywest Airlines, he is currently the Western Regional Director for OBAP (Organization of Black Aerospace Professionals). In this position he is responsible for all programming on the West Coast. This includes the Aerospace Professionals In School, Aviation Career Enrichment Academies over the summer and various other tasks determined by the Board.
